Kalamazoo River Alliance - 1st Annual River Clean Up !!! Verburg Park - June 5th 10am - 1 PM Bring your boats, kayaks, boots, gloves, nets, magnets... Bring whatever you've got and help spread the word because we're cleaning this damn river up !!!!!!

Come join us for the KRA's 1st ever clean up event !
Event Details:
This river cleanup will be a little different from the typical events people are accustomed to.
Experienced boaters and paddlers will be allowed to clean up on the river. All other participants will utilize the KRV Trail that follows the river to pick up trash. Due to large volumes of sediment in the water, there will be NO WALKING OR WADING in the river. There will be no exceptions to this rule. The sediment deposits are no joke and can be very dangerous.
Event: June 5th, 10am – 1pm
Registration: 9:30am – 10am
FREE Raffle Giveaway – 1pm
This is a muti site clean-up. Your clean-up area will be provided to you at time of registration. Magnet fisher's will have access to multiple bridges in the clean up area.
What to wear/bring:
Appropriate clothing for the weather, walking or hiking boots, bug spray, sunscreen. NO waders will be needed for this event.
Gloves and trash bags will be provided.
Coffee, doughnuts and snacks will be provided as well as refreshments along the river.
